What in the world gives Brooklyn Nets head coach Jason Kidd the belief that he’s earned the right to demand a promotion? What did he do as the Nets head coach to make anyone look at him as a stellar player personnel guy, let alone a decent head coach in the NBA?Â
This hasn’t stopped Kidd from demanding pretty much everything under the Sun.
Denied promotion, Jason Kidd gets OK to talk with Bucks http://t.co/tk8gK3FwOA

Now that the Nets haven’t given in, Kidd is now being courted by the toilet bowl of the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks.
Again, what did Kidd do this past season to warrant a promotion? The Nets finished just six games over .500 and were defeated by the Miami Heat in the second round of the playoffs. From a strategy standpoint, Kidd appeared to be out-coached nearly every single time the Nets took the court in 2013-2014.
He lacks any type of player personnel experience, likely would have been on the hot seat next season if the Nets started off slowly and seems to be more of an egocentric individual. None of those three things suggest that Kidd would make for a decent front office executive at this point.
But don’t tell that to a Bucks team that is looking to do anything in order to become relevant in the National Basketball Association. So much that their current head coach and general manager had no idea about the interest in Kidd until it was reported by the media.
What have we learned about this mess?
1. The Bucks are a laughing stock of a franchise.
2. Jason Kidd is a bigger fan of Jason Kidd than we are.
Regardless of how this plays out, those are the two things that have come from this hot mess. It really is that simple.
