James Harden opens game with four-point play

We’re not too sure whose decision it was to have Emmanuel Mudiay on James Harden to start Wednesday night’s game between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.

Whoever made that decision might want to rethink this for the remainder of the game.

Coming off a brilliant recent stretch, Harden opened the game at Madison Square Garden with a four-point play.

Whether Harden initiated the contact remains to be seen. But Mudiay does have to give him room to land. It didn’t look like that happened.

The likely NBA MVP has been on a tear recently. Harden has dropped 30-plus points in each of his past 20 games and is averaging a ridiculous 42.3 points per game during that span.
