Jameis Winston had the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rolling Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He drove the Bucs into the red zone on an 11-play drive in which he completed 3-of-4 passes for 42 yards.
Then the wheels came off.
Winston dropped back to pass the ball when the ball just popped out of his hand.

The officials took a second look at this play and determined it was a fumble, recovered by Kansas City. This took a scoring opportunity away from Tampa Bay, which cannot afford any of these types of plays if it has any hope of hanging around as a potential contender in the AFC South.
The Chiefs, thankfully for Winston’s sake, ended up going three-and-out on their next possession and gave the ball right back, leading 3-0.
