Jalen Ramsey on A.J. Green: I told him he was soft and weak

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey still isn’t backing down after being ejected from last week’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals for fighting with A.J. Green.

In talking about the incident in question, Ramsey didn’t hold back on Wednesday.

“I told Green he was soft and weak. Which is true,” Ramsey said, via First Coast News in Florida. “I was out there spitting facts.”

Always a boisterous figure, Ramsey continues to back up his trash talk with tremendous play on the field. As a sophomore this season, he’s yielding a sub 45 passer rating when targeted.

Though, there’s definitely another angle to this statement. One could easily conclude that Green got the best of Ramsey in the aforementioned brawl. Neither player was suspended, but Green likely should have been.

In any event, Ramsey is still out here making enemies with opponents. As long as this continues to be backed up with All Pro level play on the field, the Jags likely won’t have an issue with it.
