Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Brett Pesce’s timetable is “way more” than week-to-week, coach Rod Brind’Amour confirmed Wednesday.
Pesce has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury after recording one goal and one assist in the first five games of the season, his ninth with Carolina. He leads the team with 14 blocks.
Pesce, 28, has recorded 187 points (37 goals, 150 assists) and 211 penalty minutes in 562 games with the Hurricanes since being drafted in the third round in 2013.
