Hawks star Trae Young treats himself to Oklahoma mansion for Christmas

Trae Young crossover

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has entered superstar status less than two full seasons into his NBA career.

Young, a native of Oklahoma, is now treating himself to his first real home. TMZ Sports notes that the sharpshooter has purchased a $1.5 million mansion in Norman, the home of his Oklahoma Sooners.

The pad includes five bedrooms, six baths, a pool house, a pool and a huge kitchen. It includes 8,100 square feet of living quarters.

“It doesn’t stop there. The baller is also adding 14 TVs and a dope audio system — and because of that, he’s spending TONS of money on security,” the gossip rag noted.

Young has more than lived up to the hype coming out of OU as the No. 5 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He’s averaging 29.0 points and 8.5 assists on 37% shooting from distance this season.

He now has a nice pad to show for it. Great Christmas present to yourself, Mr. Young.
