Despite a recent report that claimed Haason Reddick was granted a request to seek a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, the two-time Pro Bowler claims there is no other team he wants to play for.

The Eagles are still in the early stages of trying to reimagine their team in the wake of a disappointing result in 2023-24 that saw their season shockingly end in the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs. They have made several major additions to the coaching staff and are likely to make some notable changes to the roster.

Late last week, it was reported that Haason Reddick had allegedly requested to seek out a trade to another team, and Philadelphia had granted his petition to find a new home in 2024. Well, the star linebacker claimed on Tuesday there is no truth to the shocking report.

Bleacher Report NFL insider Jordan Schultz claimed today that Reddick told him “I would like to get an extension done here at home. At no point did I ever tell the organization I want to be traded.”

The Camden, New Jersey native also added “This is home for me. I was born and raised here. Two of the most fun years playing football in my life came here. I’ve cherished being an Eagle.”

Haason Reddick is in the final year of a three-year, $45 million deal he signed before the 2022 season. After five seasons spent in Arizona and Carolina, Reddick has become an elite-level linebacker and pass rusher during his two years in Philly– compiling 27 sacks in that time. Moving him would be a big loss to an Eagles defense that already regressed in 2023-24.
