The Kansas City Chiefs earned the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye thanks in part to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins beating the New England Patriots Sunday.
After the stunning upset win, which was engineered by Fitzpatrick, a Chiefs fan, Chase Myska, started a petition on change.org to get Fitzpatrick to bang the drum at Arrowhead Stadium.
The petition included this message: “Let’s show our gratitude with the greatest honor to be given at Arrowhead Stadium. Let the man bang the drum!”
At the time of this writing, over 5,000 people had signed Myska’s petition.
Personally, that would be quite the sight to behold. You have to imagine that the scene at Arrowhead if this fantasy did come true would be absolute mayhem.
