GAM, Dplus stay alive in Swiss Stage of Worlds

GAM Esports and Dplus won their Round 3 Low Matches on Monday as Swiss State action continued at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship.

GAM eliminated Team Liquid 2-1, sandwiching a 28-minute win on red and a 35-minute victory around Liquid’s 25-minute win on blue.

Dplus swept Team BDS, sending them home courtesy of a 25-minute win on blue and a 24-minute decision on red.

Competition resumes on Thursday with a pair of Round 4 Low Matches with Fnatic vs. Cloud9 and MAD Lions vs. Weibo Gaming.

After the Swiss Stage, the $2.225 million world championship advances to the knockout stage. All rounds are being contested in venues in South Korea. The knockout round will culminate with the Nov. 19 grand final at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
