Calzada famously engineered a 41-38 victory over Alabama, the fierce rival of Auburn. He passed for a career-best 285 yards and matched a career high of three touchdowns in the upset on Oct. 9.
Overall, Calzada passed for 2,185 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 12 games. He entered the transfer portal last month.
Calzada was 15-of-29 passing for 192 yards when the Aggies defeated the Tigers 20-3 on Nov. 6.
Auburn was in need of a quarterback after three-year starter Bo Nix transferred to Oregon.
The Tigers also have TJ Finley in the stable. He passed for 827 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in nine games. Finley started three games after Nix sustained a season-ending ankle injury.
