Former Patriots’ TE Rob Gronkowski will be on WWE SmackDown on March 20

After rumors swirled of Rob Gronkowski making a move from the NFL to the WWE, the former New England Patriots star is now set to officially make his WWE SmackDown debut next week.

During the WWE’s broadcast on Friday, iconic wrestler Mojo Rawley revealed that Gronkowski will make his appearance on March 20 at WWE SmackDown and he’ll have plenty to say with his iconic personality and flair on display.

The 30-year-old has made WWE appearances before, including in WrestleMania 33 in 2017, but wrestling fans can likely expect to see a few Gronk spikes and even more wildness from the beloved former football star.

After retiring from the NFL after winning his third Super Bowl ring, Gronkowski teased returning to the NFL. However, he remained away from the game during the 2019 season. Now with his WWE contract seemingly almost finished, he appears set to make his latest career move into the world of wrestling and entertainment.
