Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings Patterson was, without question, one of the top “eye opening” rookies from 2013. He was labelled a “project in progress,” when the Vikings took him in the first round in last year’s draft. All we’ve been hearing out of the Vikings camp is that Patterson has developed good pass-catching skills, improved his route-running skills and is going to be a main asset to new offensive coordinator Norv Turner’s unit. The caution lies with Patterson being a Vikings’ wide out, which aren’t typically fantasy friendly. The hype of Turner calling the plays, who constructed a breakout year from Cleveland Browns’ Josh Gordon in 2013, is likely worth the risk in reaching for Patterson. Value – High.
