Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott got paid big time on Wednesday after a lengthy holdout from the team.
Elliott and the Cowboys’ brass took to the podium one day after he inked the six-year, $90 million extension.
We didn’t learn a whole bunch more about what led to the contract extension in said presser. However, Elliott did announce that he plans on donating a cool $100,000 to the Salvation Army.
This is a grand gesture from a man who made news earlier in his career for being fine after he jumped into a Salvation Army donation bucket during a Thanksgiving Day game.
A total of $100,000 might not mean much to Mr. Elliott after inking that record deal. But it’s going to be put to good use by the charity. Good stuff, Zeke.
