Bobby Jackson was once Sacramento Kings royalty, and he’s not happy about the way George Karl is coaching the team right now.
The current CSN Bay Area broadcaster ripped into Karl after the Kings were manhandled by the Brooklyn Nets, who won the game 128-119:
“I think i could come off this set and do a much better coaching job right now.” – @TheBobbyJackson NOT holding back on George Karl

The next day, a rumor developed (h/t Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical) that Sacramento was, indeed, mulling over the prospect of firing Karl, indicating Jackson isn’t the only high-profile ex-Kings star to be disappointed by what’s going on.
Vlade Divac has done a nice job putting together a competitive roster, and the Kings were right there in the thick of things for the No. 8 seed until very recently. But since rattling off five wins in a row last month, Sacramento suddenly finds itself mired in a 1-6 slump.
Now fully four games behind the Utah Jazz for the final playoff spot, the Kings are in desperate need of a spark.
Jackson likely isn’t the guy to bring the fire, but he does have some coaching experience with the Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves. With that in mind, it might not be crazy to think he could do a better job than Karl right now.
