New York Giants tight end Evan Engram won’t be doing that again. The rookie was fined $12,154 by the NFL for his Marshawn Lynch tribute crotch-grab celebration after catching his first NFL touchdown on Monday Night Football in Week 2.
#Giants TE Evan Engram, whose post-TD crotch grab generated a flag, was fined $12,154 for unsportsmanlike conduct. Oof.

To be fair to Engram, it was a thrilling moment, and at the time the score pulled New York even with Detroit.

However, the NFL has been narrowing down what is and what is not permissible under the new, more relaxed league rules about celebrations.
We’re betting nobody else tries this one in the near future. As noted by Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, this one ended up costing the Giants 30 yards, and now his wallet is considerably lighter.
