After trying him in a variety of roles during his three-year career with the team, the Philadelphia Eagles have released pass rusher Marcus Smith.

A first-round pick from Louisville back in 2014, Smith started a grand total of zero games during his stint with Philadelphia. He ultimately recorded just 18 tackles and four sacks for his efforts during this span.
The Eagles had originally played Smith in a hands-down role from the defensive line before moving him to an EDGE pass-rushing role. Neither seemed to work for the now first-round bust.
Selected 26th overall, the likes of Kelvin Benjamin, Teddy Bridgewater and Derek Carr were picked after Smith in the draft. Surely, this is a decision the team is rueing to this day.
