Apparently the former Pro Bowl quarterback was arrested late last year in Arizona on DUI charges. According to this report from a local ABC affiliate in Arizona, McNabb served a one-day sentence Wednesday and was released early Thursday morning.

Why the mug shot wasn’t released until recently is unknown. The gossip site TMZ was the first to report this news, which could be an indication that the mug shot was leaked by authorities in Arizona.
It’s a sad day when those connected to police departments start to actually release information to gossip rags such as TMZ. If you remember correctly, TMZ was the first to erroneously report that Colin Kaepernick was under investigation for sexual assault earlier this month.
To protect and serve, right?
In any event, it wouldn’t be a day in the life of the NFL offseason without a current or former player being arrested or serving time for something.
