It might not be as insane as Flat Earth Kyrie, but the conspiracy theories apparently don’t take any time off around the sports world.
The latest comes in the form of new Miami Dolphins defensive end Williams Hayes, who apparently doesn’t think we landed on the moon back in 1969. Really, he’s one of “those” people.
William Hayes does not believe USA landed on the moon.

It’s been somewhat of a drawn-out topic within the conspiracy theory community (yes, that does exist). Some conclude that the moon landing of Apollo 11 was conducted on a Hollywood movie stage for propaganda. Others say that it was a way for the United States to show its might during the height of the Cold War with the then Soviet Union.
Despite actual evidence to the contrary, these are theories that have passed the test of time. They continue to come out, and Hayes is just the latest example.
We’re just upset that Hayes himself wasn’t dealt to the Seattle Seahawks when his former Los Angeles Rams team decided to trade him earlier in the offseason. Imagine the conversations Hayes and Pete “truther” Carroll could have.
Oh, to be a fly on that wall.
