Boxing legend Muhammad Ali passed away at the age of 74 on Friday night. Since the death of one of the great American figures of all-time, many different people have thrown their praise Ali’s way.
And for good reason. Not only was Ali one of the greatest to ever take to the boxing ring, he was an iconic figure for a generation of Americans that stood up against the Vietnam War and the double standards that conflict brought on the home front.
Among those paying homage to Ali the day after his death were the Los Angeles Dodgers.
All of the Dodgers game notes in the lead up to their outing with the Atlanta Braves Saturday night included great Ali quotes.
Well done, @DodgersPR. All of the headlines on today's notes, are @MuhammadAli quotes. pic.twitter.com/vTnzxTynDk

A divisive figure during his heyday, Ali was bigger than sports itself. Though, it’s the sports world that has primarily stepped up and paid its respects to the greatest of all-time.
The Dodgers tribute is among the best we have seen all day. Good for them.
