Arizona Coyotes forward Andrew Ladd will be sidelined four to six weeks with a lower-body injury, the team said Tuesday.
The 36-year-old veteran skated only two shifts (1:13) before leaving Sunday’s 3-1 win against the Dallas Stars.
Ladd, who missed the entire 2020-21 season due to injury, has six goals and three assists in 42 games this season — his first with the Coyotes.
The two-time Stanley Cup winner has 547 points (255 goals, 292 assists) and 609 penalty minutes in 992 games for the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets, New York Islanders and Coyotes.
