The Dallas Cowboys have added to their pass-rush group by acquiring former Pro Bowl defensive end Robert Quinn from the Miami Dolphins on Thursday.
This deal had been reported to be in the works for some time now. But it’s now official. As Todd Archer of ESPN notes, Miami receives a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in exchange for Quinn.
A former first-round pick of the then-St. Louis Rams back in 2011, the 28-year-old Quinn recorded 15 quarterback hits and 6.5 sacks last season.
Quinn’s best season back in 2013 when he recorded an NFL high 23 tackles for loss to go with 34 quarterback hits and 19 sacks.
