The Indianapolis Colts’ season is going nothing like the team had hoped at the start of September. Therefore, it is not surprising that team owner Jim Irsay won’t commit to head Chuck Pagano beyond this year.
According to this report by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, even Pagano jokes that everyone is on a “one-day contract.” Rapoport says Pagano is well aware that his future in Indianapolis is in doubt ā something Irsay seems to mirror.
From TNF First Look: Yesterday, I asked #Colts owner Jim Irsay about Chuck Pagano's future. He told me āRight now, I donāt have anything new one way or the other to report on." What does that mean? pic.twitter.com/FwXYRR32xn

It has been an overall miserable run for a Colts team that sits at 3-10 on the season. To make matters worse, quarterback Andrew Luck was eventually placed on IR after failing to gain medical clearance to play.
That is not Pagano’s fault. But, we can see why Irsay is beyond frustrated with the way the team’s season has spiraled out of control. As the season winds down, the show must go on. A win at home for the Colts tonight inĀ Thursday Night Football would help ease the tensions somewhat.
