Clayton Kershaw continues to make positive strides in his recovery from the injury to his throwing shoulder and threw a 20-pitch bullpen session Monday.
The Los Angeles Dodgers ace threw all fastballs, and looked pretty good doing it.

Afterward, he said that “it was another good day, and I’ll take that right now,” per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.
Kershaw is aiming to be ready in time for Opening Day, though manager Dave Roberts recently admitted that might not be in the cards. When asked about whether it matters to him, Kershaw admitted it does, with a caveat.
“Yes and no, I guess,” Kershaw said, per Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times. “Yes because I’ve got a little streak going and just the history behind it is pretty cool. But no in the fact that it’s not worth just one game out of [many].”
At the age of 30, and soon to be 31 later this month, Kershaw has dealt with a string of injuries to his throwing arm in recent years. With that in mind, taking a cautious approach is probably for the best.
