Christian Yelich leads MLB with 31 home runs at the All-Star break, but thanks to a back injury he will not participate in the Home Run Derby.
Instead, Yelich will be replaced by Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman.
Yelich has been doing ridiculously awesome things with his bat all season long, so it’s a bummer that he won’t be able to participate.
However, Chapman and his 21 dingers should keep things interesting on Monday night.
