Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the host Cincinnati Bengals.

Edwards-Helaire, who was listed as questionable with a collarbone injury, did not travel with the team to Cincinnati on Saturday.

Running back Jerick McKinnon was added to the 53-man roster for the Chiefs (11-4), who have won eight in a row.

Edwards-Helaire was injured in the third quarter of Kansas City’s 36-10 romp over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.

The 22-year-old Edwards-Helaire leads the team with 517 rushing yards this season. His four rushing touchdowns are tied with Darrel Williams for the club lead.

Edwards-Helaire has rushed for 1,320 yards and eight touchdowns in 23 career games. He also has 55 career receptions for 426 yards and three more scores since being selected by the Chiefs with the 32nd overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

McKinnon, 29, has seven carries for 38 rushing yards and 10 catches for 81 yards this season.
