As if the Kansas City Chiefs were not scary enough, the defending AFC West champs could get three-time All-Pro safety Eric Berry back to practice this week. Berry missed the first two games, both wins, with a heel injury.
The #Chiefs and #Bucs are both 2-0 and both could be getting healthier: KC S Eric Berry (heel) is improving and could practice this week, while first-round DT Vita Vea could do the same. Too early to know their status for this weekend, but positive signs.

If there’s one early-season Achilles heel for an otherwise dominant Chiefs team, it’s pass defense. They allowed 452 passing yards to Ben Roethlisberger in Sunday’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and rank dead last in pass defense through two weeks.
It’s mattered little with second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense dominating. He boasts a Super Bowl era record 10 touchdowns over the first two games of the season, including a whopping six passing scores in Week 2.
A six-time Pro Bowler, Berry missed all but one game to injury last season. That came on the heels of a 2016 campaign in which he recorded four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
