Los Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl defensive end Joey Bosa is now officially doubtful to play Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dealing with a foot injury that has sidelined him recently, the third-year pass rusher was seen in a walking boot during Friday’s practice.

This could be a major blow for a Chargers defense set to go up against strong-armed young quarterback Patrick Mahomes and an elite-level receiver in that of Tyreek Hill.
Bosa has recorded 23 sacks in his first two NFL seasons and is a member of one of the best pass-rush tandems in the league with Melvin Ingram.
Should Bosa find himself sidelined come Sunday, Los Angeles’ depth will be tested in a big way. It’s a less-than-ideal scenario for a team facing a difficult Week 1 matchup.
