The Chicago Bulls took some time out of their late-season playoff push to do some good within the community on Friday. As announced on their Twitter account, the Bulls donated a cool $1 million to the Chicago Public Schools.
Chicago’s donation is a joining of forces with local hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper, who just recently cut a check for a cool $1 million himself.

These stories are not necessarily uncommon around the professional sports world. Teams have continued to do a lot of good within the communities they play.
For the Bulls, it’s all about giving back to a public school infrastructure that’s lagging behind others in terms of educational attainment. This should go a long way in helping rebuild the foundation of the city’s school system.
