Future Hall of Fame Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas is one of the greatest players at his position in NFL history. He’s also proven to be a true iron man in every sense of the word for the long downtrodden franchise.
On Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, Joe Thomas played his 10,000th consecutive snap.
11 seasons.
162 games.
10,000 consecutive snaps (and counting).Congratulations, @JoeThomas73! https://t.co/jJNraidVR5

It’s a streak that dates back to his NFL debut with the team back in Week 1 of 2007. In reality, it’s one of the most awe-inspiring streaks in sports history.
Tasked with protecting his quarterback’s blindside, Thomas has made contact with the opposition on all 10,000 snaps. Talk about endurance. That’s just an amazing accomplishment for the 10-time Pro Bowler.
From head coach Hue Jackson and young offensive lineman Joel Bitonio to former teammates and coaches, the Browns themselves paid an amazing tribute to Thomas in this 10-minute long video. It really is something.
Not only has Thomas proven himself to be one of the best offensive tackles in league history, he’s done so for a Browns team that’s put up just one winning season during his tenure in Cleveland.
Talk about commitment to the process and to his team.
