The hamstring injury that has kept Buffalo Bills rookie Devin Singletary out of practice most of the week will also keep him out of Sunday’s game.
Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Friday that Singletary and cornerback Taron Johnson are both out in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Singletary has been phenomenal when given his chances so far this season. He’s averaged an absurd 12.7 yards per carry and has a rushing touchdown, along with five receptions for 28 yards.
With the rookie out of commission, the Bengals should expect to get a heavy dose of veteran Frank Gore, who has already been the team’s workhorse with 30 carries so far this season.
