nfl draftkings

This article will focus on the best value play at each position using NFL DraftKings’ pricing for the Sunday 1 p.m. slate. We will provide one cheap option at every position based on matchups and game theory from top to bottom. Now that we’ve done the housekeeping, let’s get into Week 16.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco, Cleveland Browns ($5,500)

Flacco is averaging more than 21 fantasy points per game over the last three games. He has a good matchup this week against the Texans’ defense, which has allowed almost 22 fantasy points per game over their last five games. He can be stacked with his top two targets, TE David Njoku and WR Amari Cooper.

Running Back: Antonio Gibson, Washington Commanders ($5,200)

Gibson disappointed last week sharing carries with RB Chris Rodriguez Jr., but he did get all of the targets between them. With Brian Robinson out again this week, he is in line for the lead role again, and he should see a few more targets out of the backfield on the road this week.

Wide Receiver: Garrett Wilson, New York Jets ($5,800)

Wilson is averaging more than 13 fantasy points per game over the last four games. This week, he has a great matchup against the Commanders’ defense, which has allowed more than 24 fantasy points per game to opposing WR over the last five games. Getting a player of his talent in this good of a matchup at this price is a no-brainer.

Honorable Mentions: WR Jonathan Mingo, Carolina Panthers ($3,600); WR Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars ($3,800)

Tight End: Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears ($4,400)

We played him last week, let’s play him again. Kmet has averaged almost 12 fantasy points per game over the last three games, and he has a good matchup against the Cardinals’ 23rd-ranked defense against the TE position.

Defense: Minnesota Vikings DEF ($2,500)

The Vikings’ defense is averaging almost 13 fantasy points per game over the last three games. The Lions’ offense is explosive, but they have struggled on the road. Consider the Vikings a value play this week.
