Astronaut Honors Jackie Robinson from Space

We hear it all the time when a ball is jacked out of the park that it could have easily landed on the moon. This time, it is almost accurate.

According to CBS Sports, astronaut and baseball fan Terry W. Virts paid tribute to Jackie Robinson with a message from outer space. He sports a Brooklyn Dodgers uniform and says he was impressed with Robinson beyond baseball.

Currently, Virts is assigned to “Expedition 42/43” (what a coincidence) as a commander. It launched on a Russian Soyuz in December of last year and plans to land next month.

Awesome.
