Have you long thought that you could be the head coach at a major college program? If so, we have got the solution for you. Hop online and apply to become the next head football coach of the Arizona Wildcats.
That’s right, Arizona is looking to replace the fired Rich Rodriguez and has posted the job on the University website.
We do have to warn you, though. If you don’t have a Bachelor’s Degree and “Five years of football coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level,” you might get hung up. The listing clearly does identify those two things as minimum qualifications.
It would also help if you had “Football coaching experience at an NCAA Division I level program.” But that’s only a preferred qualification. So you might be able to get around that one.
But regardless of whether you meet the standards, we’d suggest you go ahead and “shoot your shot,” as the kids say. Look at it this way. Given the way he was fired, Rodriguez set a pretty low bar to follow.
