Saturday’s scheduled ARCA Racing Series opener at Daytona International Speedway has been shifted to Friday night with the threat of weather this weekend.
The Hard Rock Bet 200 will now take place after the Truck Series opener with a anticipated start time of 10:30 on Friday. The Truck Series race is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
From a broadcast standpoint, the ARCA race will start on FS2 but move to FS1 following the conclusion of college basketball coverage. Viewers who subscribe to FS1 may also watch the race on the FOX Sports App in its entirety. The event will also re-air on FS1 during its original Saturday time slot.
Heavy rain is expected to begin around lunchtime on Saturday and may not move out until Sunday evening, also threatening the start of the Daytona 500. The Xfinity Series race on Saturday is equally under threat.
