Antonio Brown now has a big decision to make after an independent arbitrator reportedly ruled against him in his grievance to wear his old helmet.
Mike Jones of USA Today shared this news Monday, citing two sources.
Brown, of course, has been away from the Oakland Raiders for well over a week now following an odd series of events, one of which included him trying to sneak his old helmet onto the practice field after painting it to look similar to the Raiders decal.
Oakland has an obligation to not allow him to wear his old helmet, which has been banned by the NFL due to safety issues. The Raiders have also sent him numerous options to choose from, yet there are reports that Brown threatened to retire if he didn’t get his way in this matter.
It’s going to be fascinating to see what happens next.
