Multiple reports indicate that the Los Angeles Angels have acquired All-Star Closer Huston Street from the San Diego Padres in a six-player deal.
Sources: #Angels close to acquiring Street, as first reported by @JimBowdenESPNxm. Class AAA 2B Taylor Lindsey expected to head to #Padres.

Angels general manager Jerry Dipoto has been going hard after relief help this season. He’s already acquired Joe Thatcher from the Arizona Diamondbacks and Jason Grilli from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The acquisition of Street will solidify a bullpen that has already blown 12 saves thus far this year. Street boasts a 1.09 ERA with 24 saves on the season.
According to Rosenthal’s report Triple-A infielder Taylor Lindsey is among those heading to San Diego in the deal.
Update: The deal has reportedly been finalized. According to numerous reports, four players will head to the Padres with two going to the Angels.
Huston Street and AA Pitcher to Angels for Taylor Lindsey, Jose Rondon, Jose Alvarez and another minor leaguer- 6 player deal done

John Sickels of SB Nation’s Minor League Ball had Lindsey ranked as the Angels No. 1 prospect back in January, with R.J. Alvarez and Jose Rondon coming in at seventh and eighth respectively. That’s a whole heck of a lot to give up for a closer. It remains to be seen what minor leaguer the Angels acquired in this deal.
