On the very first play of Thursday night’s game between UCF and Connecticut, Aaron Robinson went down, stayed down and had to be stretchered off the field.
The Alabama transfer was injured on the opening kickoff of the first game of the year.

Announcers calling the game noted that Robinson was able to move his legs, but the medical staff on the field was being extremely careful not to move his spine.

Robinson is a redshirt sophomore out of Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was a 3-star recruit in the the 2016 class, and played in 13 games for Alabama during the 2016 season.
He sat out of the 2017 season after transferring from Alabama to UCF.
