New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge robs Shohei Ohtani of HR, goes deep himself

The talent of one Aaron Judge was on full display as his New York Yankees hosted Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angeles Wednesday evening in the Bronx.

In a game pitting MLB’s two-best players against one another, Judge got the first laugh. Ohtani seemingly took Yankees starter Jhony Brito deep in the top half of the first with a towering fly to right-center field.

Judge blindly threw his glove up over the fence in a desperate attempt to bring it back. What followed was absolute insanity.

At 6-foot-7, Aaron Judge has the height to climb walls. But you have to be kidding us. When his glove made contact with the ball, it was a good four inches over the fence at Yankee Stadiun. The concentration to then catch the ball with his other hand. Just crazy stuff.

Not to be outdone by his previous feat, Judge decided to take Angels starter Griffin Canning deep for a two-run homer in the bottom of the first to give the Yankees a 2-0 lead.

Aaron Judge is the reigning American League MVP. He just signed an historic contract to remain in the Pinstripes. He’s showing us why right now. What a talent.
