The Philadelphia Eagles locked Malcolm Jenkins up long term when the two parties agreed to a four-year, $35 million contract extension on Monday.
With Jenkins having new riches in hand, teammate Darren Sproles offered via Twitter to babysit some of Jenkins’ funds via his bank account.
@MalcolmJenkins I 👀👀👀👀 you!! Let me hold a few dollars!! Hahahaha!! Naw but Congrats bro well deserved!

Jenkins jokingly responded back to Sproles with his tweet. Then, whoever manages the Philadelphia Eagles Twitter account jumped in and posted this dagger-eyed gif of Kevin Hart that is kind of giving that “you’ve got to be kidding me” type of stare-down.

Jenkins is quite deserving of his lucrative contract extension after posting a couple of his best statistical seasons to date. During his two-year tenure with Philadelphia, he recorded five interceptions, two fumble recoveries, two touchdowns and a total of 184 combined tackles.
Sproles is entering his final year of a three-year deal that has paid him an average of $3.5 million annually since signing with Philly. With that, we can understand why he offered to let some of Jenkins’ money incubate in his account.
