Fresh off an entertaining UFC 251 at Fight Island Saturday night, the MMA world was back at it Wednesday evening with UFC Fight Night 172 on ESPN.
One of the preliminaries included Modestas Bukauskas going up against Andreas Michailidis in a light heavyweight bout.
Bukauskas more than had his way with Michailidis, including a knockout with a vicious elbow in the first round.
As you can see, the referee called the fight as Michailidis was having trouble getting up and almost fell out of the Octagon completely. It was certainly the right call.
Bukauskas now moves to 11-2 in his career and is potentially set for a much bigger stage in his next fight. That’s for sure.
