Colorado Rockies star third baseman Nolan Arenado is not too happy about his team putting the All-Star on the trade block.
Reports of a rift between Arenado and Rockies general manager Jeff Bridich picked up steam earlier this week despite the team indicating that trade talks are over.
A couple days later, and Arenado has issued a statement that’s directed at Rockies fans in general.
As you can see, Arenado is attempting to make this a personal matter between himself and the Rockies after going “out of character” and publicly criticizing the organization.
He did not put to rest what has been winter-long trade rumors surrounding one of the game’s best overall players.
The 28-year-old five-time All-Star is hitting .300 while averaging 40 homers and 124 RBI over the past five seasons. As of now, it seems like he’ll be on the Rockies come Spring Training.
