Making his return to the court for the first time since he suffered a grade-three ankle sprain a month ago, Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox found quite the way to prove his explosiveness is back.
During Tuesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, guard Devonta’ Graham drove to the hoop on his way to a bucket. Fox turned a short run into an eye-popping leap as he soared over Graham’s head and kicked the ball out of his hands with his foot.
It was already remarkable that Fox returned so quickly from an injury that usually sidelines players for months and limits their explosiveness when they first return. Meanwhile, Fox looks like he’s trying out for the 2020 Olympics with his incredible vertical leap.
