The Cleveland Browns are finishing up what has been a terrible season for young quarterback Baker Mayfield and the team.
The contrast between these Browns and their division rivals in that of the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday could not have been more real.
While Lamar Jackson was busy throwing three touchdowns before three quarters had even been completed, Mayfield’s season-long struggles continued. He threw for just 101 yards through three quarters.
It led to the second-year quarterback hearing boo birds from Browns fans, at which point Mayfield responded. The scene was about as ugly as it gets at FirstEnergy Stadium.
You don’t have to be an expert lip reader to know what that one fan was saying. The international sign for being mad at someone was also prevalent during this ugly interaction.
We know Mayfield is a divisive personality. He’s gotten into it with others in the past.
Even then, this did not paint either the quarterback or Browns fans in the best of lights.
