If the Philadelphia Eagles get into the playoffs and advance, they’ll reportedly get wide receiver DeSean Jackson back for the divisional round.
ESPN’s Tim McManus reported Jackson “is expected” back if the Eagles can get to Round 2.
The veteran is currently still on injured reserve recovering from core-muscle surgery stemming from an injury suffered in Week 1. Here’s what he’s been up to lately, and it sure looks like he could be ready soon.
Jackson has appeared in just two games this season, and the second was short lived as he came out in the first quarter. In his first game, the veteran wowed Eagles fans with an eight-catch performance that yielded 154 yards and two touchdowns.
Getting him back for a playoff run would be huge for the Eagles, who’ve been woefully understaffed at the receiver position in recent weeks due to a rash of injuries.
