One of the ugliest incidents we’ve seen on the football field in some time broke out Thursday night in Cleveland.
With the Browns about to win their fourth game of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland edge rusher Myles Garrett legitimately committed assault on the football field.
Garrett ripped Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph’s helmet off and hit him over the head with it (watch here).
It was an absolutely disgusting display from Garrett. It also drew harsh criticism from teammate Baker Mayfield.
After the game, multiple NFL players called for Garrett to be suspended for the remainder of the season. That included another player who was involved in the brawl, Steelers offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey.
He was not alone in going after Garrett and calling for a suspension.
