Just when it appeared the Alabama Crimson Tide were going to go up by two touchdowns against Tennessee, Nigel Warrior stepped up with an interception of Tua Tagovailoa.
The quarterback evaded pressure, rolled to his left and then unleashed a pass he should never have thrown.
Tennessee had just turned the ball over, but then after some big plays by ‘Bama’s offense got the Tide into the red zone, Warrior made the big play. If not for the insane speed of Henry Ruggs, Warrior would have likely scored on a 100-yard pick-six.
This interception sparked a nice offensive drive for Tennessee, which scored a touchdown when freshman quarterback Brian Maurer took it in from a few yards out on a quarterback sneak.
