Vikings fine WR Stefon Diggs for skipping practice, meeting

The Minnesota Vikings have fined wide receiver Stefon Diggs after the star receiver skipped practice and meetings on Wednesday for non-injury reasons.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, it’s not the first time Diggs has missed a meeting this season.

Speculation surrounding Diggs’ frustration with the organization intensified on Wednesday before he returned to practice on Thursday and indicated he didn’t specifically request a trade.

While Diggs practiced on Thursday and Friday, Zimmer indicated to reporters on Friday morning that Diggs may still not play on Sunday against the New York Giants. The Vikings will likely use the fine as discipline for Diggs and he will suit up in Week 5.
