The NFL has spoken with Britney Taylor about her allegations of sexual assault by Antonio Brown, but the league has not yet spoken to Brown himself, per Jane McManus of ESPN.
Brown has also been accused of sexual misconduct by a second woman, which the NFL is also looking into as part of its larger investigation into Brown’s conduct.
The seven-time Pro Bowl receiver was released by the New England Patriots on Friday following a determination that he had sent intimidating and threatening text messages to the second woman.
Needless to say, the NFL’s investigatory team has plenty to discuss with Brown, when it has its ducks in a row. ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted earlier on Friday that the league can now take its time with the investigation, and he noted it’s possible that Brown’s career may be over at this point.
