Free agent running back Jay Ajayi is ready to get back into the game. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported Friday that Ajayi told all 32 teams he is ready to play and fully recovered from the ACL surgery that ended his season last October.
A former fifth-round pick out of Boise State, Ajayi has been productive in the NFL when healthy. He won a Super Bowl as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and made the Pro Bowl following the 2016 season.
In 42 career games played with the Miami Dolphina nd Eagles, Ajayi has rushed for 2,516 yards with 13 touchdowns, adding 419 yards and one touchdown on 63 receptions.
