Magnolia High School lost everything needed to play football this coming season, but the Los Angeles Chargers came to the rescue.
Following a freak storage unit fire that left the team with nothing, just a month ahead of the season, the Chargers stepped in with a $10,000 check to get the team on its feet in short order.
The Chargers invited the entire team to practice Sunday, introduced the player to coaches and players, and then provided the money needed to replace much of the equipment.
Really a touching story that will certainly stick with these young men for years to come.
